Cassini Island

Cassini Island is located at the western end of the Oyster Rock Passage that separates the massive Long Reef formation (visible partially at the top-right of this image) from the Institut Islands and Montesquieu Islands at the head of the Admiralty Gulf. The island is of average size (for the region) at 3.4 km².
Terrain on Cassini is exceedngly flat, dropping to the coast via low cliffs to beaches of sand or short rocky slopes.
