The Prudhoe Islands are one of several small groups of islands to be found in the Montague Sound area of the Kimberley coast. They are located 7.5 km east from Bigge Island's Cape Chateurenaud (visible at left). The group consists of three main islands and a number of emergent rocks and reefs. Prudhoe is the largest of the group (3.35 km²) and also the highest, rising to 85 m.
