The small island of Chetlat (shown here in false-colour) is located 35 km northwest from kiltan, on the northern edge of the Amindivi Islands group.
The 1.2 km² island (1.2 km by 0.4 km) lies upon the eastern edge of a small emergent reef platform; to the west a shallow lagoon extends for some 2 km.
