Goidhoo (sometimes referred to as Horsburgh Atoll) is a small, egg-shaped atoll of the north-central Maldives, situated 12 km south from the atoll of South Maalhosmadulu and 40 km north across the Kardiva Channel from the small island of Thoddoo. Administratively it is part of the South Maalhosmadulu (Baa Atoll) division.
The atoll measures 17 km in length from east to west, with a north to south width of 8 km. Structurally the atoll comprises a near continuous outer reef rim that is broken by a single passage on the southwestern side known as the Doru Kandu. There are three main islands all located on the northeastern side — Goidhoo (1.13 km²), Fulhadhoo (31 ha) and Fehendhoo (20.6 ha). A few minor islets are located on the western and southern reef rim.
