Rongerik

Rongerik is the second largest of an east-west orientated grouping of three atolls that lie at the northern end of the Ralik chain of atolls. It lies 32 km east from Rongelap; Ailinginae, at the opposite end of this short chain, lies 93 km to the west.
The atoll is approximately circular in outline, measuring 18 km across. Its 17 islets have an area of 1.7 km².
