Fakahina

The small atoll of Fakahina is a member of the Centre East group of atolls. It is located in a somewhat isolated position 75 km to the east of Fangatau. The atoll has a relatively broad rim that is topped by a near continuous land mass. There are no passages connecting the lagoon and the open ocean.
