Marokau

A member of the Centre East group of atolls, Marokau is approximately triangular in shape measuring around 20 km across, with a central lagoon covering an area of 217 km². The islets of the reef rim have a combined land area of 14.7 km². The atoll is located less than 2 km from its smaller neighbour of Ravahere.
